A Review of Selection of Power Transmission Drive for Special Purpose Pipe Cutting Machine

S.D.Baldha, D.S.choudhari

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 1-3

Abstract - Belt, chain and gear drives are used as power transmission drives to transmit the power from one shaft to another. Each drive has its own advantages and disadvantages. The review represents the selection of best power transmission drive for special purpose pipe cutting machine. In this machine the drive is used to rotate the pipe during the cutting operation. The selection of drive depends on different parameters and feasibility of it for particular task. . Various selection criteria like manufacturing cost, maintenance cost, efficiency, interchange ability, availability of component of drive, design flexibility, working environment should be consider before selection of particular power transmission drive. The selected drive should give desired efficiency and should be economical. The paper covers of comparison of these three drives.

A Survey on Rule Extraction Approaches Based Techniques for Data Classification Using Neural Network

Kelvina Jivani, Jatin Ambasana, Shruti Kanani

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 4-7

Abstract: Although neural networks have performed very well for many application domains, one of its main drawbacks is the inherent black-box nature. Many researchers have developed techniques to extract human understandable symbolic rules from neural network. Here the survey of these techniques according to their approaches is presented. The Paper focuses on the basics of neural network and the Approaches and Techniques of extracting classification Rules from Neural Network. Comparison of approaches is also present.

Analysis and Comparative Study of EEABSR within Existing Protocols for MANET

Vimal M. Kotadiya, Prof. Altaf B. Mogal

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 8-11

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile node that is connected through a wireless medium forming rapidly changing topologies. MANET are infrastructure less and can be set up anytime, anywhere. The lack of static infrastructure causes several issues in mobile ad hoc network, such as energy utilization, node authentication and secure routing. In this paper we use energy efficient administration based secure routing (EEABSR) algorithm. This approach will reduced the computational overhead to make it more energy efficient then existing algorithms. We have reduced the amount of network activity for each node required to route a data packet. This leads to lesser wastage of energy and increased security. This paper presents the impact of comparison of EEABSR algorithm with existing algorithms in term of different parameters.

A Study on Fixture Design for Complex Part

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 12-15

Abstract - The fixture designing and manufacturing is considered as complex process and requires the knowledge of different areas, such as Geometres, Dimensions, Tolerances, Procedures and manufacturing processes. This study is about the 3-2-1 principle of fixture design and the different approaches which are used in the related fixture design are explained. The main concentration of the study gives us the idea and path that what are the further steps and work plan for the fixture design.

Comparative Study between Fuzzy Clustering and Hard Clustering

Nidhi Upendrakumar Patel

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 16-19

Abstract: To survive and flourish in today’s competitive global environment are necessary to be made decision quickly and correctly. For that data mining is most important key tool to achieve success quickly. In data mining data clustering is unsupervised clustering method. This paper review on partitioning clustering method : fuzzy clustering and Hard clustering. If there is no clear grouping in the dataset then fuzzy clustering is needed. Individual data entity belong to be in more than one cluster by assigning different degree of membership to each cluster. While in Hard clustering each data point belongs to exactly one of the partitions. Hard Clustering can be seen as Soft Clustering when probabilities are either 0 or 1. Fuzzy clustering handle vague and uncertain data set very effectively than Hard clustering.

Analysis of PageRank Algorithms Based on Web StructureMining and Web Content Mining

Jignesh Patel, Swati Patel, Hiteishi Diwanji

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 20-22

Abstract: Google claims on its webpage, PageRank is the heart ofsoftware and continues to provide the basis for all of web searchtools. Web is collection of millions of pages and is growing veryrapidly as large numbers of pages are added and modified everyday in web. It is very important to provide an efficient andrelevant search result to particular query made by user.PageRank algorithm can be link-based or content-based. In linkbasedalgorithm, PageRank uses web structure using webcrawler. In content-based algorithm, it uses contents of all webpages.

A Technical Review on Reduced Beam Section

Darpil H. Shah, Kamini A. Parmar, Prakash A. Prajapati, Chintan D. Patel

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 23-27

Abstract: In developing India, most of the buildings are high-rise.So the use of steel is increasing day by day. Mostly the buildingsare designed for earthquake resistant, not the earthquake proof. As the concrete is brittle material and steel is ductile material, sothe use of steel is more in high rise buildings. Thus the buildingsare designed as per the considerations of mainly lateral forcesviz. earthquake force. In steel design, the sections are designedalong with connection design. Connections are mainly designedfor resisting moments during the failure of beam and saving thedamage in column. This paper is regarding the moment resistingconnections and reduced beam sections. In this paper, the pastwork and the experimental work done by various peopleaccording to their views is studied. To conclude in the end, thereduced beam sections proves to be the better option as themoment resisting connection.

Optimization of Energy Consumption in Soda Ash Process

Amit Zala, Prof.C.G.Bhagchandani, Mr.Abhishek Gupta

Volume: I , Issue: I

Publication Year: 2014 , Page(s): 28-32

Abstract : The rising cost of energy and environmental concernsare leading the soda ash industry to search for method ofreducing energy consumption in soda ash plant operations. Theresearch present in this study explores to pinch technology anddesign of the Heat Exchanger Network (HEN) for increasing theenergy efficiency for soda ash unit. The present study suggeststhat a design of Heat Exchanger Network (HEN) is the bestdesign in terms of improving the energy performance of soda ashunit. The paper discusses, application of the pinch analysistechniques and thereby optimizing the energy consumption andreducing the operating cost, capital cost, and total costrespectively.
