Abstract : The problem of journal bearings control is of great importance in mechanical engineering. A very recent method for doing this is the creation of ‘smart’ journal bearings using electro-rheological(ER) fluids. If such a fluids are such smart materials rheological properties (viscosity, yield stress etc.) and stiffness and damping can be change and controlled by applying the external electric field between the rotor and the stator and thus minimizing the vibration of the structure. In the rotor vibration control of high speed engines squeeze film dampers are currently used. The dynamic characteristics (stiffness and damping) of a squeeze film damper lubricated with electro-rheological fluids are important in many practical engineering applications are studied for high accuracy and efficiency.  At high speeds both inertia and visco-elasticity introduce phase shifting effects into the fluid motion.  ER fluids can be used to create ‘smart’ journal bearings and vibration controllers can be constructed to control the stability of the ER fluid lubricated bearing.

Abstract : Human Hand is versatile in its interaction. Imitating the versatilities and human ability in mechanical setup is an enormous test, and obliges a mind blowing significance of cognizance of the human upper limb physiology and its robotized proportionate. A massive measure of investigation worldwide is being done remembering the deciding objective to develop a human hand like prosthetic which can give standard haptic value. The proposed work gives a comprehension to the progression of a bionic hand which performs hand straightforward exercises in perspective of surface EMG signals. Surface EMG signal is a biomedical signal that measures electrical streams delivered in muscles in the midst of its withdrawal addressing its neuromuscular activities.

Abstract : Wide area of knowledge & expertise could be ideal solution for the advanced technology while in contras promoting multi disciplinary initiatives in engineering needs to be carefully designed. This paper mainly focused on impact on final product as graduates from such system were more challenges are waiting in terms of unemployment(>65% a case study) and future scope in multidisciplinary branches in engineering & technology. Here in-depth analysis has been carried out in Power Electronics engineering discipline as case study for the statistical analysis covering various job scopes, sector wise requirement in industries, etc.
