Key-words -Fault resistance, Distance relay, over/under reach, fault impedance.

Abstract- Protective distance relays, which make use of impedance measurements in order to determine the presence and location of faults Fault resistance introduces an error in traditional ground distance relay apparent impedance measurement process. If not accordingly considerate it produces

primary protection zone underreach. In this paper first we review and describe directional elements suitable to provide ground fault protection in solidly- and low- impedance grounded distribution systems. A new compensation method based on fault resistance calculation is presented. The fault resistance

calculation is based on monitoring the active power at the relay point. The compensated fault impedance measures accurately the impedance between the relay location and the fault point. This new compensation method avoids the under-reach problem in ground distance relays. For modeling of power system network and fault simulation MATLAB/SIMULINK’S Power System Block set (PSB) is used.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to introduce all about Solar Roadways and to allow all to become familiar with how solar roadways work. The solar roadways technology provides a clean energy, freely available with safer, smarter roads but solar roadways facing a plenty of technical as well as economical challenges and problems during installation and after the installation. By replacing the highways with solar roadways and also replacing playgrounds and parking lots, could be powered by the sun only entirely. In this paper we review the various types of economical, technical and weather challenges and problems facing in solar roadways and also mention the advantages of solar roadways.

Keywords—fuse recloser, distribution generation, protection, fuse

Abstract—The overall problem when integrating DG in existing networks is that distribution system are planned as passive networks, carrying the power unidirectional from the central generation level downstream to the loads at MV/LV level. The protection system design in common MV and LV distribution networks is determined by a passive paradigm, i.e. no generation sources, The networks get active and conventional protection turns out to be unsuitable. In case of high DG penetration into distribution system, coordination between recloser and fuse is likely to be disrupted. The protection cannot be resolved with traditional recloser so to overcome this problem the proper Coordination between fuse and recloser is needed.
