Abstract: Many data mining techniques are developing for detecting the financial fraud [7]. Because when the internal auditing system is fail in the large organization or even in the government sector or in public sector then the chances of the fraud are increases. Data mining techniques are providing the best aid in fraud when missing some important data. This paper present comprehensive review of the literature on the Application of data mining techniques for the detection of financial fraud and proposes a framework for data mining techniques based smart meter  fraud detection. The different classification techniques like NaïveBayes, decisiontrees and support vector machines are used to detect the financial fraud. The adoption of smart meters may bring new fraud detection concerns to the general public. Given the fact that metering data of individual homes/factories is accumulated every 15 minutes, it is possible to infer the pattern of electricity consumption of individual users. In order to protect the fraud detection of users in a completely de-centralized setting (i.e., individuals do not communicate with one another. The novel approach allows individual meters to report the true electricity consumption reading with a pre-determined probability. Load serving entities (LSE) can reconstruct the total electricity consumption of a region or a district through inference algorithm, but their ability of identifying individual users’ energy consumption pattern is significantly reduced. Using simulated data, we verify the feasibility of the proposed method and demonstrate performance advantages over existing approaches

Abstract: Boundary conditions in mechanical structures and machining operation in machine tools play vital role in dynamic performance for vibration testing. Minor variation in boundary condition can change dynamic behavior of structures. Modifying boundary conditions, Finite Element Analysis can be validated for vibration testing results. Also better high speed machining can be obtained in machine tools. In this paper, Finite Element Analysis is carried out on crank type structure with different boundary conditions. Modal analysis is performed for modal natural frequency and mode shape. Harmonic analysis is carried out with un-damped condition to obtain Frequency response Functions (FRFs).These FRFs compared for change in modal frequencies, mode shapes and amplitudes.

Abstract: The developing cities are having lots of traffic problems with increasing rate of vehicles in today’s scenario. Ahmedabad is the highest populated city in Gujarat. Highest traffic problem occur at intersection. Intersection is an area shared by two or more roads. This area is designated for the vehicles to turn to different directions to reach their desired destinations. Its main function is to guide vehicles to their respective directions. Traffic intersections are complex locations on any highway. This is because vehicles moving in different direction wan to occupy same space at the same time. In addition, the pedestrians also seek same space for crossing. Drivers have to make split second decision at an intersection by considering his route, intersection geometry, speed and direction of other vehicles etc. A small error in judgment can cause severe accidents. It also causes delay and it depends on type, geometry, and type of control. Overall traffic flow depends on the performance of the intersections. It also affects the capacity of the road. Therefore, both from the accident perspective and the capacity perspective, the study of intersections very important for the traffic engineers especially in the case of urban scenario. So detail study of intersection is needed .

Abstract: In this paper concept of Modal and Harmonic analysis in FEA is discussed. FEA model of IC engine is generated and modal parameters (natural frequency, mode shapes) are extracted using modal analysis. Frequency Response Function (FRF) is obtained in harmonic analysis. Different damping estimates are considered to obtain these FRF. The effect of damping is discussed for these FRF. By this way, FEA model can be modelled to simulate real structures when performed on real vibration testing methods. And amplitude of FRF can be retarded by tuning different damping estimates. Rational Fraction Polynomial method is used to check the accuracy of FEA as Curve fitting technique.

Abstract: The use of Guar Gum (GG) as a viscosity modifying admixture (VMA) in stabilizing the rheological properties and consistency of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) was proven to be possible because of Guar Gum is a naturally available form of viscosity modifying agent. However, available commercial VMA’s are imported from abroad and are costly thus, making the over-all cost of SCC high. But in India production of Guar Gum is high and its cost is minor then other Viscosity modifying agents available in market. This paper presents investigations on the performance of a locally produced VMA (Guar Gum) used in combinations with commercially available High-Range Water Reducer or Super Plasticizer  (HRWR or SP) to produce self compacting Concrete with regards to high flowability, elimination of segregation, filling ability of congested Spaces with obstacles and high compressive strength. In experiment Guar Gum is replaced with cement content and super plasticizer is replaced with content of water. A result shows comparison between compressive strength of normal Concrete and Concrete having Guar Gum and super plasticizer of different proportions.
