Abstract: An efficient transit system plays an important role in the development of many rapidly developing urban area across the country. Many small towns and their surrounding rural region have developed and are rapidly developing, leading to need of public transportations system in such areas. This study has been carried out to predicat the passenger travel demand on such rapidly developing town of Himmatnagar located in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat Data collection is done through Study on Mode Choice behavior, willingness to pay, Opinion survey and Occupancy survey. Also the existing   public transportation system is studied and found insufficient. Hence it reveals the need of additional public transport routes across the study area due to growing passenger travel demand.

KeyWord: Land use.

Abstract: Rapid Urbanization leads in unplanned network without transit systems operating on it. To cater the growing public need as planning of network and transit system operating on it requires study on land use spatial interaction, which involves existence & quantification of interaction through different studies after generation of interaction mechanism, delaying the entire planning process with unplanned random solution for immediate need. Many studies indicate that those unplanned solutions are the problems of near future. Hence a need is felt to evaluate spatial interaction by measuring the changes in land use, with an Aim to develop O-D matrix for Transportation Planning.

KeyWord: GIS, water supply, distribution network.

Abstract: Water distribution systems constitute a vital part of civil infrastructure. An increasing demand for water due to population growth, industrial development and improvement of economic require management of water transfer and improve operation of distributed network systems. Design of water supply systems is one of this issue that can be mapping and analyse using GIS and RS techniques. The purpose of a water distribution system is to ensure the supply of water to users at speattern of urban expansion over the demographic change and land use modifications has also indicated that urban growth has mainly taken place linearly along the major roads in the study area.
